Learn how to remove the wheels from your bike, how to diagnose what caused your tire to go flat, and how to repair the flat so you can get riding again. Bring the front wheel from your bike so you can follow along in class.
Bike Maintenance 101
Learn how to keep your bike running smoothly by keeping it clean and properly lubricated. We will cover methods to clean your bike and we will pay special attention to proper lubrication of the chain, derailleurs, and cable systems. Demonstration bikes will be provided.
Learn how to adjust your gears and brakes.
Get the information needed to keep your shifting and braking systems operating properly. Learn to adjust derailleur limit screws, install rim brake pads, center brake pads, and set cable tension. This class gives you the right information to keep your bike running smoothly.
