Basic short that gets the job done. I didn't want a bunch of pockets or shorts that were real baggy. I bought them for summer riding and they have been great.
The shorts are nice but have one thing that needs to be improved. First, the padding is good, plenty of pocket space, and the outer fabric seems durable. The bad, the outer shorts are made from a good fabric but are not flexible, so the legs of the shorts ride up a little on the leg (not excessively)for me better than staying on or below the knee since I ride XC. The front pockets are good for off the bike but not while on it since they are stitched to the pant portion. The cargo pockets are useful but are not zippered so it is possible that coins, keys, etc could fall out in my opinion, but they are great for soft stuff and things that are a little larger like food bars or Gu. I wouldn't recommend these since I feel that there are better shorts out there for the same price now, but the chamois is nice
Shorts are less than two months old and I wore these shorts less than a dozen times. Front seam of mesh liner split while riding last weekend at a casual pace. Very disapointing for [$]shorts that claim to be built to last forever. [...] It's a shame because they are very comfortable and light yet still have great pockets. Would not recommend unless you are looking for comfortable, disposable shorts.
